Winter Tips: Protecting Your Pups From the Cold.

Tip # 1 - Let's talk temperature
Some dogs are blessed with thick fur, but dogs with thin coats need to wear a sweater/coat or both when going out for winter walks.

Tip # 2 - Know your dog's limits.
Some dogs are more susceptible to the hypothermia and frostbite - so limit their time outside.

Tip #3 - Does your dog need a coat?
REMEMBER - If it is too cold for you, then it is too cold for your dog. Bundle up. Big Dogs need coats too!

Here are a few of our most popular warm coats and sweaters:

A good coat/sweater should reach from the bottom of the neck to the base of the tail.

Tip #4 - Ensure your pet's bedding is warm and well placed in your home.
It's important to keep your dog’s bed clean during the winter months.
